10 must have Items in every Gentlemen’s Wardrobe

There are some items that every man, every single man regardless of their age should own especially if you’re on a budget. Often times men spend their money on stuff that is trendy for now but they will not be wearing it as much. Instead invest in pieces that are classic and will always be in style. These item also act as the foundational pieces around which you can build your wardrobe.

A Suit

A “well fitted” suit is an all-time classic and a definite must have. Start by investing in basic and versatile colors like Navy blue and Medium Grey because they work with almost any color shirt that you’ll ever buy.

A pair of Dark Blue Denim

A pair of Blue denim trousers will work will 99% of items in your closet and the best part is jeans ko hr roz dhona bhi nai prhta. A solid colored denim would br more versatile than a faded and ripped option so start with a solid colored dark wash one. It can be used to compile a business casual look sutible for the office and friends k sath get together hai tou whi jeans t-shirt k sath bhi perfect lgti hai.

A pair of Khaki Chinos

Ab hm hr roz jeans bhi tou nai pehan skte na, change things up a bit with khaki chinos an item of clothing which is as versatile as your jeans but a bit more comfortable especially in summer. Start off with Khaki color and then different colors options try kr skte hain later on.

Crisp White Shirt

This doesn’t even need any kind of explanation, just buy it.

A Pair of Shades

A great pair of shades that actually suits you based on your face shape will be an instant confidence booster and it also protect your eyes and prevent dark circles so there’s also that.  Start making up your collection with all-time classics e.g. Wayfarers, Club masters and Aviators.

A pair of Brown Leather Brogues with a matching belt:

Style is upto personal preferences but there are some rules that just must not be broken. One of these rules is the rule to always, “ALWAYS” match your leather belt with your leather shoes in terms of color and texture. Every man must own at least one pair of leather shoes that he can wear whenever he wants to show off a bit more ;). Brown brogues shall be your first purchase obviously, kyun k brown ziyada versatile and playful color hai black se. Brogues are considered a bit casual compared to cap toe oxfords so it will be suitable for more occasions.

A Plain Black Shalwar Kameez

A guy wearing Black Shalwar Kameez is something that girls like more than guys do, enough said. A tip to remember is that simpler is better in this case just go completely plain, no embroidery no contrasting colors. It’s something that a man can wear on 99% occasions in his life. Phir chahe university ho, friends k sath get together ya bhai ki shadi, black shalwar kameez works.

A pair of White Sneakers

Every man needs a pair of casual footwear that he can wear every day without worrying about k “yeh kharab hojai ga” but this definitely doesn’t mean that sneakers ka khiyal nai rkhana hta. A pair of white sneaker is not just trendy but also very versatile. Guys have started wearing it with suits which in my opinion is a very cool look but at the same time it’s very difficult to pull off so beware of it you don’t want to be the guy who looks like he’s trying too hard.

A Beautiful Wrist Watch

“But time tou mobile per bhi dekh skte hain wrist watch ki kia zaroorat hai”, said no stylish man ever and so you shouldn’t either. Wrist watch ku pehani chahiye per poora article likha ja skta hai. For now, just remember that your first wrist watch should be a brown leather wrist watch because of its versatility and also because you bought brown brogues earlier ;).

A pair of Brown Peshawari Chapli

Yes, as long as you’re a man in Pakistan you must own at least one pair of Peshawari Chappal also known as “khairiyan”. A suede one is considered more casual than the leather one so choose according to your lifestyle. Again color brown color would be more versatile imo. Just to let you know I’ve actually worn them with jeans and chinos and I loved the overall casual feel of that look.

So these are the wardrobe essentials in my opinion for every modern gentleman. Use these items and start building your interchangeable wardrobe around them.
